Countertop fabricators who template the actual cabinets, show you the slab, and put the seam where you can live with it.
About Nashville's Countertops
Nashville's Countertops is a countertop company serving Nashville and 64 more towns across 12 counties of Middle Tennessee — and we stake our name on how the work goes.
A countertop is sold by the square foot from a sample chip and installed by a crew that discovers the cabinets are not level. Our fabricators template the real cabinets, show you the actual slab and the seam layout, and install level on shimmed cabinets so the top does not crack.
What we do
- Template the cabinets. A laser or a physical template on the installed cabinets, never from a drawing.
- Show the slab and the seams. Natural stone varies; you see your slab and approve the seam placement before it is cut.
- Price the removal and the cutouts. Old tops out, sink and cooktop cutouts, the edge profile — all on the quote.
What we will not do
- Install on unlevel cabinets. Shims or a call to the cabinet installer first; stone on a twisted base cracks.
- Hide a seam in the wrong place. Seams are planned away from the sink and the cooktop where the slab allows.
- Sell quartz as indestructible. It is not; heat and some chemicals mark it, and the care is explained before the sale.
What we actually work on
Quartz and granite countertops in Nashville.
The countertop installation problems Middle Tennessee homeowners bring us most often:
- Laminate lifting at the seams
- A burn or chip you work around
- Cabinets fine but tops are dated
- Want an island with seating
- Sink is too shallow to use
- Selling and the kitchen shows its age
Who does the work
Our fabricators carry liability insurance on file with us and operate shops we have seen; a fabricator who cannot show a shop is a broker.
Beyond the paperwork, the test is how somebody handles the part of a countertop installation job that does not go to plan — the honest call when the estimate has to change, and whether you hear about it before the work or after. The countertop fabricators who stay with us are the ones who have passed that test on jobs we know about.
Why we do not publish reviews yet
No slab-yard photos presented as our kitchens and no reviews on this site yet; the proof will be tops installed here, shown as owners agree.
Where we work
Fabricators serving Nashville also template and install in Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville; the range is 65 towns across 12 counties. Each of the main cities has its own page — what its houses mean for countertop installation, who issues the permits, which neighborhoods are inside the run.
If you want to understand the work before you speak to anyone, our countertop installation guide covers what drives the price, what your options are and what a badly done job looks like — written so you can judge any countertop fabricator in the region, including us.
Who we are
Nashville's Countertops is owned and run by Michael Blair, and he answers for every word on this site. The pages are written from manufacturer documentation, Tennessee code and the trade’s own practice, and revised when those change; the posts carry his name and their dates. The countertop fabricators who do the work are licensed, insured, held to the commitments above, and Nashville's Countertops stands behind the work.
Check us, or any countertop fabricator: a Tennessee contractor’s license is verified at verify.tn.gov, the certificate of insurance is yours to ask for before anyone starts, and the permit office for your town is named on its page.
