Templating & Fabrication, in practice
Templating happens after the cabinets are installed and shimmed level, never from a drawing. Stone cannot be adjusted on site, so anyone offering to template from a plan is fitting a top to a kitchen that does not exist yet.
Seams are inevitable on most kitchens because slabs have a maximum size. Where they land is a decision — behind a sink, in a shadow line, away from a run you look down — and it should be yours.
